I was born and raised in Kyoto thorough and thorough. I know Kyoto inside and out.
I went to college in San Diego, California. When I lived in the US, many people asked me about Japan. Until then, I hadn't been very conscious of being Japanese, but gradually I became interested in my country's history and culture.
Now I work as a Kyoto City Certified Guide, but I don't want tourists to leave after only seeing the surface of Kyoto. There are beautiful, iconic tourist spots that appear on postcards, but there are also hidden gems that few people know about. There are restaurants loved by locals and events that few tourists attend. My joy comes from seeing guests smile after a Kyoto tour I've planned with them.
I also listen to each guest’s individual preferences. There are as many ways to travel as there are guests—food preferences, tour pace, travel themes, and more. My role is to listen to their wishes and, by offering local insights, create a journey that exceeds their expectations.
Actually, I love traveling myself.
What kind of trip would you like to take?
I look forward to exploring Kyoto with you.

Even if you don’t have specific ideas yet, that’s okay.
I’d be happy if you could share part of your travel plans with me first.
